Yeah the cabinets are good size the only one issue I have with them is that the rails are 10mm short of being 36m wide which would allow me to get 3 cbus units across but not to worry as I can add the blind controllers here when I get them. The cabinets only cost ?140 $215 so its all good

Looking great so far! Who is the manufacturer of your cabinets/enclosures?

Can I recommend cable trays instead of clips. I find that in about 1% of cables someone misses the nail and hits the cable. Then it doesnt work.

Yes please to more pics, always useful to see other people's ideas - even if they are usually better than mine !

Do I take it that the shorter commoning strips are used for your Neutral returns, and the longer bars for the Earths ?

Do you have the details of the Moeller cabinets available i.e. Part Numbers and Dimensions please ?

    Cheers

I will get the details for you when I get home. Yes the smaller bar is for the Neutral and the longer is for earth I put the centre din rail in myself and cut and fitted the bar. I have fitted an rcbo to the load side of each dimmer and two to each 12 channel relay that is why the Neatural is not one long comman bar. I am not an electrician and am not saying this is the correct way to do it but if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I will post more pics and info soon

    Thanks for your comments

Wow, was checking that wiring out thinking WTF  til I realised it wasn't done in Australia or NZ. Switchboard enclosures look cool, better than the plastic ones I used at my place.

    bulky cabling?

so how come you didn't run single sdi cable to the lights ? would have saved you a heap of bulk when it comes to wiring? what country is this in?

I am in Ireland. Do you mean only run the live wires and keep the natural common from circuit to circuit? I am using RCBO’s so the naturals can’t all be common. I suppose I could have cut down on some of the cables but if I ever do decide to change a circuit from a relay to dimming it is quite straight forward. If I was doing it again I would split the board in two and put a sub board in at the bottom of the house so I would have shorter cable runs.
