My cbus 2 turns lights and fans on radomly

    Hi,

    C bus2 ... many lights and fans come on randomly...several times a day....and don't turn off. I now found by trial and error if I isolate a particular bank/unit - 2 x 250 mah power supplies in the board - (3 more still running on the Board) the problem goes away. Isolate another bank in the same Board and problem still there.... Ie I seem to have found what maybe a faulty power supply (ie at least one of the 2 in the bank) and i read it is likely the capacitors in a 250 mah power supply unit there that causes this. I am not an expert...

    Anyone have any knowledge of this problem type ?

    Is next step to turn off one of the 2 power supplies i found cause it, and monitor a few days to see if 1 of the 2 power supplies is causing it ? Then change that out if so ?

    it does not show up in diagnostics...

    I've edited the title and contentious parts of the original post and cleaned up this thread - I agree that the original wording was insensitive and we don't need that on a technical forum.
