Hi all interested in thoughts on this setup.
In order to limit a complicated long cable run from one section of my house I have roughed in cables to where a sub board will be placed. I’m considering now instead of putting cbus dimmers and relays in there that I put terminals and connect everything to a multicore. Then run the single multicore to the main board where it would connect to the dimmers and relays instead.

my brother the electrician doing the install was unsure if the shielding on the multicore cable might cause an issue?

so to clarify I’m going from lights to 1.5tps to terminal to shielded 1.5mm multicore to dimmers/relays

    thanks for your thoughts guys
