    Hi Colin,

FYI, I just ran through the whole voltage range of 0 - 2.8 Volts DC in 0.1v increments into the general input unit channel using a variable power supply.

The percentages output on the measurement channel in 'show current level' and in the measurement channel logs were completely linear from 100% - 0% ('inverted' output - as you said was necessary) using the exact channel settings and the Enabled (use library curve ticked and graph looking the same as one forwarded) library curve as per my image.

If your input channel is set up exactly as per my last sent config image, and it is still not reading right
    either:
    1. your voltage into the channel is outside the 0 - 2.8 V DC output spec of the senor that you sent or
    2. its getting induced voltage from somewhere, or
    3. your channel is faulty or
    4. something else I can't see in the setup here on my bench.

I am interested to hear the voltages you read for fully dry and fully wet, but knowing where you live the weather radar says you won't get to see dry in the next 24 hours :p

    Have a good weekend,

    Brad

    Brad,

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you.
    Readings are as follows:
    Dry - 19.62 volts
    Wet - 22.48 volts.

The difference of 2.86 volts is exactly as per the Manufacturers advice.

The only problem is that they are in reverse.
I will contact the Manufacturer with the problem and maybe they can come up with a fix before we waste any more of Ashley's time.

    Regards,

    Colin

    Ashley,

Brad has been working with Shane (my guy) and using his graph reversal idea has come up with a. sso far it as only been bench tested and will be putting it in the Vineyard at the end of the week. Hopefully the cable run ( 80 metres) will not cause any problems.

May I take thios opportunity to thank you for all your effort. It has been greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Colin
