    Hi all
I would need some help in order to understand the main differences between HomeGate (5000HG 1 or 5 networks) and SchedulePlus (5000P or 5000P5).
We are currently selling several installations with SchedulePlus 5 Networks but due to cost reasons several customers are asking us for cheaper software packages.

Thanks a lot for your help

    Daniel

Just looking at the brochures for both HomeGate and Schedule Plus, the ONLY differences between the two brochures are the picture of the software on Page 2, the quotes below, and the fact that SchedulePlus has the additional option of an Unlimited User licence, instead of just the single user and 5 user licenses... (No wonder its so hard for you to work out the differences, as other than these few things, the two brochures are worded IDENTICALLY...)

    Schedule Plus:
"Examples of the type of items that can appear on Schedule Plus pages include Buttons, Sliders, Indicators, Real-Time Clocks, imported images (including vector based Metafile formats (emf and wmf), which can be exported from AutoCAD)."

    HomeGate:
"Examples of the type of items that can appear on HomeGate pages include Buttons, Sliders, Indicators, Real-Time Clocks JPEG Images and Bitmap Images. These can be placed and sized as a user requires and can be displayed in full colour."

Now I'm confused as well
The only real difference seems to be the extra license option and the types of images that can be imported

Differences between HomeGate & Schedule Plus

First of all, thanks Darpa for your reply.
Maybe my first question was not so complete.
We do have main differences in term of Pages, Components, Schedules, Scenes, Users, Irrigation zones, etc for both softwares as stated in Pag. 7 of every manual.

We are trying to market HomeGate solutions for the design start-ups in some buildings and then move to Schedule if needed.
So we need to know if communications and interfacing capabilities are the same in both packages or if there are big differences.

    Thanks again
    Daniel
