I am asking for advice on the load monitor in c-touch. I have set up recovery on all enable control groups, however, every time I restart the c-touch (waiting 15 mins for the save) the enabled groups become disabled?? ie Irrigation and the likes

Am I doing something wrong or do I not understand what it should be doing?

Do you have a Black and White C-Touch or Colour C-Touch?

I have just tested with V4.8.3 and it works correctly.

When you transfer the project to the Colour C-Touch, make sure you select the "Include Power Failure Recovery File" option.

I feel like this issue has returned or I'm missing something also. All my schedules enable addresses never seem to recover, even though they are set to in the load monitor.

    Hi Memphix,

I've just tested with latest release of PICED and it's working as expected. When I restart PICED and open the project the output from the log shows the enable group swtiched on and the schedule activated.

If you can provide any more details of the problem we can dig further.

    Regards,

    Matty

    Thanks for the reply...

Looking at my log (its just the touch screen sitting on the bench, only connected to a power supply and interface - says its in simulation mode)...

    Logging says:
    - Start Power Fail Recovery
    - Read PFR File C:\...
    - End Power Fail Recovery

Nothing actually happens... I have just made both a Lighting address as well as the Enable address set to recover. Left those addresses on for 20+ minutes, neither has recovered.

I have updated the firmware on the CT3 to the latest (4.12.1.0).

    Hi Memphix,

There is another check box in the project wizard under the C-Bus tab. The check box is called 'Broadcast Power Failure Recovery Levels'. If you check this, the load recovery will do its job.

Thanks Matty... that has done the trick. :D

I'm guessing that "feature" was selected by default in a previous version.
