License Purchase ?

Do we have to pay for licenses ? how does that work...

(note i saw stuff in the java engine for c-gate..)

 

No licences to pay for.

 

This is true when using CGate2 with Toolkit, Circa, Tica or C-Touch.

If you want to use C-Gate as a part of an actual building control system (i.e. permantly connected to network) then licensing will be required if you want to use it for more than 1 network. The above products are not restricted and have full access to all networks.

 

how does this work then with the toolkit which [appears] uses cgate and across multiple networks

 

Toolkit has some magic that 'unlocks' CGate for all networks..
