    Hi all,

Incandescent light was on L5508D1A dimmer channel 2, no issue.
Replaced incandescent light by 12W dimmable LED with driver.
LED dims ok but would slightly flicker when Cbus on "off" - issue not unexpected.

Channel 3 of L5512RVF relay below was free, better suited for LED i assumed.
I unplugged the wire from dimmer channel 2, plugged into relay channel 3B.
Manually pressed toggle 3 on relay: bang, both dimmer and relay trip off.
    Check cables, repeat, same results.

Unplugged cable from relay channel 3B, plugged back to dimmer channel 2, all back to normal (still with the flicker obviously).

What did i do wrong ?

You tried a 31LCDA load corrector on the LED when it is on the dimmer?

I assume this is a single phase installation?

Are those RCDs? If so then you need to move the neutral for your lighting circuit as well. It is detecting an imbalance in the live and neutral on both RCDs because the live feed for your relay is going through the light and then returning on the dimmer neutral.

If you're unsure about anything then you should seek the help of a qualified electrician.

Many thx for the quick and spot on advice.

31LCDA: will try that, one day.

RCDs: had to google it... found what you meant, understood my wiring, indeed relay and dimmer on different RDC banks, identified which was which, then tried one by one which neutral wire to move from one to the other RDC until it wouldn't trip.

All working fine now, and i learnt a lot on the way. Have a great week-end !

You did it, obviously not an electrician.
