    Hi all,
I have a scenario which is using DSI dimmers. This is fine for the downlights and linear LED but the client wishes to use a pendant light from Beacon which is not DSI dimmable. Can we use 12VDC globes in the pendant (instead of the standard 240VAC globes) with ELV cabling going from the pendant to a 12V DSI driver which is then powered by the DSI dimmers. Will the lights then dim as part of the DSI control system?

My understanding is that CBUS won’t care once it hands the commands to the DSI gateway it becomes the DALI platforms problem.

This comes down to you having a tech who is DALI acquainted to do the modifications to make it suitable for the DALI dimmable driver to handle.
