If you make key in a KEY4 a timer.

    then go to Block Tab.

Change the time in the timer 1 field.

Press apply the old value appears !

click in the timer 1 field and the new value appears.

To get it to write you need to apply then click the timer 1 field then apply again

I tried the OK button after changing the time. This is worse as it is not written to database or unit !

    Micro-icon one works fine

I have just checked this out in 1.1.4. The timer value you get from the Micro-Icon (the three dots, each with lines following next to the function drop down on the upper part of the GUI) is always correct. When you save and recall the GUI it comes up consistently. However, the timer value in the blocks tab is basically adrift and doesn't relate to anything.

So, to use timers you should always use the Micro-Icons to set the time and not the blocks tab. (For now)

This is what I would normaly do. But I was using a start idle idle idle which is a custom function. so you loose the micro icons

Doing the Apply click timer then Apply works ok.

    better workaround?

    Hi Charlie,

Can you type the Timer value into the Blocks grid in the format : 1h2m3s , for example if you want to specify 30 seconds, type "0h0m30s".

You can also click the "..." button on the right side of the cell which appears when you select the cell in the grid. This launches a simple dialog where you can set the timer.

    I agree it's a bit obscure... Look out for more smarts soon (eg support for "1h", 2m30s", "4h3s", "5s", "30" ). Issue #4139.
