IR using NIRT

Just wondering if someone can clarify for me if a NIRT will pass through IR.
If I use a multisensor as target in other area do I still need to assign IR codes to nirt or will they just pass through in much the same way as IR when using starserve

 

The NIRT does not pass through IR.
