iPhone to wiser control no longer works after updating iPhone

    Previously have had the wiser app running great on iPhone until I updated iPhone to latest version of firmware now cant get it to connect. Have tried to reinstall app to phone and resetting wiser. Can get to the screen that says "getting status 1/3" but then just returns to the home screen on iPhone. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

    Known issue, other threads discuss this already. A fix is being pushed through as quick as it can.

    Actually its more likely a depreciated function was used which now doesn't exist anymore. If anything is to be depreciated, you will get warnings fro several versions of the programming software letting you know that you can use this command but it will be withdrawn in future.

    This is why a number of apps have suddenly developed "bugs".

    Apple does have a habit of removing things from the SDK without explanation, but you will get the errors in the compiler so its not really a case of them breaking anything with their update, which in any case has been out for developers testing for some months now anyway.

    has anyone found a way around the wiser problem at moment tried to rollback iPhone firmware with no joy anyone else had any luck.....

    Hi,

    I have now noticed that my wife's wiser app is not loading now and she is still on the old OS3 platform ...

    Is this because of the changes being fixed for the OS4 Application ... i didnt think it would affect it..

    It loads all the nodes then drops back to the main screen.

    Go Apple. :rolleyes:

    I'm currently using the old OS3 software to access our 'showroom' and workshop wiser, to open the roller door instead of walking all the way around :D (No, Cbus does NOT make me lazy..)
    And whenever I try to connect, it takes roughly 2 minutes to attempt to connect and then tells me it's unable, would I like to retry.
    I retry it and it works fine! I think it has a mind of it's own! :)
