:) Intro to Logic Engine pdf for those interested.

    www.clipsal.com/cis/CBusForums/Introduction_to_logic_Engine_training_manual_V106.pdf

Please note there are already alot of help and tutorial manuals that you get
    with the PICED software.

When PICED is installed, it creates a subfolder called MANUALS, please
look in there for further info.

This is typically designed for an installer to read at their leisure or PRIOR to
attending the upcoming INTERMEDIATE 2 course.

The "INT2" courses are starting as of Late august 2005 approx and will follow
    as per the training calendars.

Please contact the relevant course co-ordinator in your state for the dates.

Further details will be posted / updated to the C-Bus website within the next week regarding actual course content.

wierd, have tried opening it with both versions. Have even tried to save onto our server here at work.

    Might try from home.

It's cool, something to do with our server caching the original download that was corrupt and not letting me get the correct file.

Hello, and thanks for the link to the tutorial, worked a treat, i need some help learning this.

Currently using a CBUS2 module, with Interface and a B/W screen.
I managed to have a lamp come on on a specific day and time, woot!

Thats the best i have done in 2 days, its real difficult to grasp how to, but that tutorial helped bunches.

What i currently cannot figure out for the life of me is how to use the security options.

I would like a secure keypad on the front end to enable access to admin to make alterations for time etc.

I have loaded the keypad template and the fgures seem to be connected to something called 'special function' security keypad.

There is no indication that anything is being entered apart from the beep.
How can i implement a security feature?

I think the security template and keypad you are looking at is actually the one for interfacing to an external C-Bus Enabled alarm system. When you hit the keys it is sending keypad emulation messages over C-Bus, to a (non existent) panel, which would normally do something with them (like arm or disarm itself).

Have a look in the help under "access control" - I think this is what you really want.
