:) I would like to use the "indoor" sensor 575IL --- outdoors
ie. under a covered front entry porch , because it looks alot neater than the "outdoor one 575OWP"
has anyone used this one outdoors
it wont be exposed to rain or sun as it is tucked up in the corner

But it will be exposed to bugs..... They will get in and cause you issues.

    Penny,

I have used indoor PIR's externally in under cover areas for years with no problems.

As long as it is undercover and out of direct sunlight you won't have any issues.

The only BUGS that might cause you problems will be of the software variety...
