Are the N.E.S.S. DX8 accessories compatible with the clipsal version of the same alarm system?
Particualry the N.E.S.S. version of the 5400RF (Radio receiver) and the key fobs to go with the receiver.

    Thanks

    Homesafe and CBus integration....

    Quick Question....

With the homesafe 5400 series panel interconnected to cBus - would it be possible to task an installation so that when the panel is armed, that say the 360 degree CBUS occupancy sensors could be configured to act as additional alarm triggers?

While you of course have your primary detection system wired directly to the alarm panel (in case CBUS loses power - bad guy turns off switchboard etc...) it could be useful to have some of the occupancy sensors double up the effective number of points of detection around an installation.

Anyone have any thoughts on how doable this would be?

    Cheers

    alarm Panel

    HI

You cannot send a zone unsealed command from cbus, but you could get cbus to trigger a relay contact, and have that relay contact connected to one of the Zones (with resistor).

The security panel can send out a armed status, I like toi set group 200 to 0 when disarmed , and group 200 to 255 when armed, this way you can always check the state of the group.

then program pac etc, so that when group 200 is 255 (on) and sensor it trigger, close relay , which unseales zone.
