HomeGate V4 and V3 on the same laptop

    Hi,
    I don't know if this has been discussed before but i would like to know if it's possible, for maintenance purposes, to have both versions of Homegate 4.x and Homegate 3.x on the same laptop.

    If a customer with Homegate 3.x wants me to do some changes to their file, after I do the changes and save the file using Homegate 4.x which i have on my laptop, will the file work on the customer PC with Homegate 3.x?

    It is possible. You may need to ensure you start a compatible version of C-Gate beforehand.

    Some parts will work, but others may not. It is best to create it with the correct version.
