    Hi

I am running into some problems with homegate

I am programing some simple sceens and logic in HG and it connects to Cgate on a diffrent computer

when I was programing and testing every thing worked fine, but after I restarded the PC running HG it did not, I get various problems, the status on the buttons in HG is not correct the first time it starts
some sceens do just partly work i.e. they execute just a part of the commands in them, and random errors like that

in Cgate i get the following

20050912-155845 827 sys C-Bus Send Error: Send failed (no confirm)
    20050912-155849 827 //BUAGRUND/254 b3330440-f148-1027-85e9-eba99eb7701a C-Bus Se

C-Gate is obviously having problems getting messages onto C-Bus. The most common cause of this is communication problems caused by C-Bus burdens, C-Bus voltage, C-Bus cable length or interference. I would suggest using the C-Bus diagnostic software to observe the traffic on your C-Bus network while you are trying to control it from HomeGate and see whether you get any clues.

the c-bus network seems to be fine

I got around this by restaring all servers and c-bus equipment

and have lerned that if I start Toolkit I have to restard Cgate before I start HG again

I still get some errors like this
20050912-155913 827 sys C-Bus Send Error: Send failed (no confirm)
20050912-155913 827 sys C-Bus Send Error: Send failed (no confirm)
20050912-155913 827 sys C-Bus Send Error: Send failed (no confirm)
20050912-155913 827 sys C-Bus Send Error: Send failed (no confirm)

but everything works none the less.

    regards,
    Arni
