Helvar DALI Commissioning Tool

    Hi All,

    Did anyone used this Helvar DALI Commissioning Tool for programming the DALI devices. Can someone help me how to use this tool to send DALI commands to the network. Does it make any problem in having a Tridonic or other DALI devices/gears in the network.

    If your using the helvar 'Toolkit' software just add an input unit like a 444 to your network it will show up as VIRTUAL on the left screen, then double click which will then show the unit on the right. program up for what you want, then it should just work (famous last words)

    Hi Colin, thanks for your reply.

    I am looking for how we can change the address of the Dali Devices/Gears which are already addressed. For eg. by sending the command STORE DTR AS SHORT ADDRESS.
