    Hi
I thought this would be easy but cannot get it to work.
I want to be able to turn my stair lighting on and then have it automatically switch off after 10 mins. The Help for the Unit says that I should use the Timer function in the Block Tab of the Unit. I set this as shown below and saved it to the Unit. However, the lighting does not turn itself off after the set Timer time of 10.

What am I doing wrong and how to I get the Timer Function to Work?

On the function drop down list select timer
Then on the adjacent box with 3 dots select your time period and the type of timer.
There are 2 types of timer either would do what you asked for but I would suggest using a retrigger timer. This would mean if you push the button again it would start the time period again.

    Hi Wonkey
Thanks for the help. As ever, everything is there in Cbus but it is not always easy to find. Forum Members are a great help in preventing one tearing one's hair out in frustration.

Peter the help files are context based, so if ur on a screen and click help it brings up the help for the functions on that screen.
