Help using 5500CN

    I have just installed a 5500CN network interface. It appears in the c-bus network with unique ID 253. I have set an IP address of 192.168.0.253 which I can ping from my PC. When I run diagnotics I get "Asynchronous socket error 10061" followed by "CNI not found at 192.168.0.253" when I answer OK. C-Gate console serve does not work either. Can anyone shed light on my problem please

    First thing - Have you configured your port number on your CNI?

    Second thing - Have configured your port number in your CBus diag software to 14000?

    Reboot fixed my problem.

    I rebooted my machine and then everything seemed to work. I am still interested in what I did to lock myself out of the c-bus.
