    Gday Guys,
I got one for that long ever growing wish list. Its seems that If you create a Group Address that is longer than the 20 characters in any Application , and you use the logic engine , This causes a TAG error . Even when the GA thats longer than 20 characters is not used in the logic code written. when the code is written, its complies fine in PICED, however when its downloaded to the CTC and home gate restarts you get a Complie Error.
would it be possible to get toolkit to physically restrict the GA character Numbers to 20 the same way that it restricts a Part Name in a Unit GUI.This would be another tick in the stupid proof box:)

It would be better to make the CTC work correctly.

This and several other issues related to tags are going to be fixed in the next major release of colour C-Touch. And don't ask when ...

I am assuming you are asking why I said not to ask when this release of software will be. We don't comment on product release dates, so I was preempting the inevitable "When will it be released ?" question.

There will be an update for PICED and Colour C-Touch software to fix this problem. The Colour C-Touch hardware will not change.

3.9.0 only adds support for the new cgate shipped in Toolkit 1.6.0. It does not fix the issues discussed in this thread.
