Whenever Toolkit scans the General input module it always takes a great deal to time and on several occasions communication during scan stops?

Is this common for this type of modules because it has a lot of configuration and setup windows?

Uploading or downloading parameters with this unit takes a lot longer than it does for most other C-Bus units. This is because this unit has a lot more configuration parameters than something like a DIN dimmer or relay.

If the communication is actually failing then it suggests that the network may have some communication problems. I suggest you run the C-Bus Diagnostic utility on your network. Run the traffic analyser and look for communication errors.

Failing could be due to burden settings. Ensure you have the correct number of burdens on the network (includes both software and hardware burdens).

Not sure if there is a difference, but I prefer using hardware burdens where possible.

If that still doesn't work, try adding one more burden than the recommended etc.
