Forum Purpose

Hello and welcome.

Purpose

This forum is to allow questions, answers, suggestions and opinions for those who use the Clipsal and Square-D Clipsal C-Bus system, or who contemplate using it.

The administrators hope that the forum will become a site where users can help to solve each other's problems or provide suggestions to each other.

Occasionally, Clipsal or Square-D staff may drop by to look at what's happening or offer suggestions. There is no obligation on Clipsal or Square-D staff to participate, and many do so in their own time.

Every now and again, Clipsal or Square-D technical support will drop application notes or bulletins here as well, but they don't guarantee to check back regularly (because they are taking calls).

This site does not provide formally supported or endorsed technical support - so if you want definitive answers or support for product or commissioning problems, please contact Technical Support. You can find more about Technical Support here, including URLs and phone numbers for the call centers in different countries.

Behaviour

Users who cross the line of poor behaviour will be banned.

This includes needless dumping on other users, swearing, cursing, or generally causing offence.

This is the only warning - a ban will happen without notice.

No Commercial Purposes, No Advertising

There is sometimes a fine line between telling the world you have a wonderful thing, and outright attempts at selling.

This site is not a sales channel, it is not available for commercial exploitation. Users who want to sell products, services, systems or goods should go somewhere else. Users who try to exploit this site for their own commercial gain will be banned.

Products with C-Bus integration capabilities may be discussed in the 'Third Party Solutions' forum only.
