Flashing Lights

    Hello,

    I am attempting to achieve a flashing light sequence, can this be achieved with a neo and dimmer? If not, how is this achieved, any input would be great, thanks. :cool:

    Unfortunately no. You will need to include a pascal automation controller (PAC) as well

    Use a Dimmer

    Flashing lights have been requested in the past, and the reason that this feature is not available natively in normal key units units is EMC compliance. If C-Bus could be set up using simple units to toggle a relay contact on and off automatically at typical "flashing" rates, the conducted EMC emissions of the system would not comply with the requirements of Australian and European requirements. Flashing of dimmer outputs is no problem however.

    If you use a PAC or other controller to generate commands to achieve the flashing, use a Dimmer output rather than a relay to avoid affecting other electronic systems
