Sorry to post again. Having problems in new house.

We have a 17 lamp chandelier on the cbus system. It is on a dimmer module. We have put 3W LED dimmable bulbs in. After turning it off each of the bulbs repulses with light so that it seems to be flashing. It is switched off but seems to be getting some power back to the bulbs in some way. Are the bulbs wrong or is there a problem in the system ? We don't have similar problems elsewhere.

    Thanks as always

Did you manage to fix the problem as I'm getting the same issue?

The fundamental issue is that you are using bulbs that are not designed for use with dimmers on a dimmer channel. The dimmer channels include EMC filter capacitors and these result in a tiny amount of power being present on the output channel, even when the channel is off. If the lamps are not designed for use with dimmers, this tiny amount of power can make them flicker. This is not observed on 2-wire dimming circuits (conventional wiring) as the wall switch completely disconnects the load in the off state, whereas a 3-wire dimmer, such as the C-Bus DIN Leading Edge dimmer, is never completely off.

Buy the right lamps and you won't have this issue.

To refer to a dimmer as 3-wire is industry standard terminology for a dimmer that has an active input, a neutral connection and a dimmed output. A 2-wire dimmer has the same but minus the neutral connection as it harvests power from the load during the mains cycles.

The lamp has 2 connections, one for neutral and one for full a full or dimmed active.
