I want to be able to receive feedback from the SENCT4 to use in a 3rd party application. Assuming I'm reading the right protocol document, Metering Application, I don't seem to be able to get anything back.

I'm sending the commands through 3rd party system, my communications are all good, as I can control the lighting application.

This is the command I'm sending, hoping to receive info back from:

    \05D100090120g+$0D <--- no + in there

Any ideas? Should I also be able to see the feedback through toolkit?

    Thanks
    Darren:confused:

The SENCT4 uses the Measurement Application, not the Metering Application.

It's not clear though what you're trying to do... what do you mean by "feedback"? What are you sending it from and why?

The SENCT4 sends messages on the Measurement Application periodically (exactly when and how often depends on how it's configured). You don't need to send anything to it (although you can configure it to send you the latest readings upon receipt of a Trigger Control message).

I want to be able to use the info from the SENCT4 and display live data on a RTI touch screen or remote. Such as the current power consumption, etc.

Thanks for your info, that is exactly what I'm after.

    Thanks
    Nick :)
