Hi I was wondering if electronic transformers for Downlights have to be C-bus certified to use on the C-Bus system?

    Regards

You can use what ever you like, nothing has to be certified to use on C-Bus. Do a search through the forum and you will find lists of models that work better than others. There used to be a data sheet on the CIS website, not sure if it is still there that also discussed the very issue.

Found it on the old site. Have a look here: http://www3.clipsal.com/cis/lit_installtraining_dimmer.php3

I was reading the latest catalog yesterday and noticed a picture of a Clipsal electonic transformer. I did'nt know they had one, but it is rated at 22nf, so it appears to have been built with c-bus in mind
