    Hi all,

I need CBus to be able to activate lights as soon as electric gates open. What would be the best way to do this?

They don't want any external PIR's E5750WPL as the customers weren't exactly impressed when I showed them one!!

On another point does anyone use a different external PIR which is better looking with the same functionalities that can be integrated into CBus?

    Thanks
    Mike

    Depends on the gate controller.

Some have light control built in - you could use that with an Aux input module to trigger the lights. If there is a open/close position feedback then that could also be used.

Have you got the specs on the gate motor/controller.

A reed switch could finally be used of there are no other solutions.

Any PIR (with a voltage free contact) can be used when used with an Aux input module.

    Thank you for your help

They haven't got the gates yet so I'll advise them on that.
