    Hi,

I've got an install where it's got 10 EDLT's which are working and have worked for about a month however I can't edit them now. Everything else such as Saturns and dimmers/relays I can still open and edit but when I try to open the EDLT I get the message

    Error Displaying Unit Dialog
    Exception of type
    'SharpCGateCommunicator.CGateUnrecoverableConnectionException' was thrown.

Does anyne know what this means or how I can get round it

    Thanks
    Mike

    Cbus toolkit 1.14.8 error

Same issue as couple of years ago, that was related to Windows Update

I am using the latest Cbus toolkit 1.14.8 and the last time I reprogrammed eDlt switches was about two months ago. Tried to it again today and get same old error:

    Error Displaying Unit Dialog
    Exception of type
    'SharpCGateCommunicator.CGateUnrecoverableConnecti onException' was thrown.

I wonder what update is causing this error and if anyone else is experiencing the same problem ?

It is something in the Windows 10 Creators Update that was recently released which breaks the eDLT configuration app. There is no workaround at the moment except for uninstalling the Creators Update.

What version of Windows are you seeing this on?

I'm having the same problem on Windows creators update.
Also, when you try to program Senpill toolkit stops working altogether.
    Cheers

Today I tried removing C-GATE and Toolkit completely and reinstalling them and it didn't help.

    Same problem here!

I called C-Bus support line and they advised me to update the eDLT firmware. I'll let you know how I go but i don't have high hopes that this is the issue.
