Does CIS offer a repair service ?

    I have a customer that a Switchmode Transformer Failing has blown up the channel on the 8 channel CBUS dimmer.

    The unit is out of warranty (not that this is a warranty issue)

    Does CIS offer a repair service (All other channels work fine)

    Or it the only option a new 8 channel dimmer ? (customer is going to love that)

    Unfortunaty there are no spare channels on other dimmers either.

    Yes there is a repair service.

    Call Tech Support, and ask them what you need to do to arrange it. You can't just send back, it needs to have been arranged.

    The repair boys are very busy so it may not be speedy, but check with tech support.

    Last time I had a repair there was a flat fee for an exchange of units. That meant there was no waiting time for the repair to be done. I dont know if that still exists, but it was a great service and allowed the lights to be back in action that day.

    Was not quite that easy but after a few phone calls and a trip to the distributor and a few more phone calls I am swapping out tomorrow. There are a few bumps in the clipsal process.
