    Hi folks,

I've got 4 DLT's on a network but for some reason only 2 of them dim. (yes, I have assigned the dimmingfunction to the 2 that won't!!)

Is there any firmware upgrade or anything that needs to be done in order for them to dim???

    Thanks

    Jamie

    DLT Dimming

    Hi 1JL,

There are no known issues with dimming in DLTs. The most likely causes are a configuration problem followed by poor C-Bus comms.

    A few things to try:

Check the Toolkit application log, see if any commands are received when you press the dimmer button. If commands are being issued, check your output unit is configured correctly.

Does the DLT button show a slider, with an arrow to show the dimming direction, under the label? Does it ramp up and down when you hold the button? This will confirm the key is correctly configured as a dimmer.

Does an on/off function toggle the load from the units that don't dim? If so, it confirms the comms are ok and you have the right Group Address.

Is the load on a dimmer channel? :D

Good luck, let us know how you go!

    Cheers,
    Mark.
