    Hi All,

The DLT Simulator has just been made available for download here:
    http://www2.clipsal.com/cis/technical/downloads/software#DLTSIM

The DLT Simulator is a standalone PC application that lets you apply text and Dynamic Icon labels to buttons, select sliders and set the time, then create bitmap images of 'real' DLT screens.
It can also be used to show labelling possibilities for DLTs in NEO and ULTI Saturn looks.

This tool is provided free and shall not be supported by CIS. It is not linked to any other CIS software and has no interface to C-Bus.

    Cheers,
    Mark.

One question... I always have trouble determining what amount of characters will "fit" on the screen of DLTs. Eg: A label "Lounge D/L" will not fit on a real DLT.

Does the Font Emulation on the Simulator exactly match what happens on a "real" DLT unit ?

In other words, if the text label "fits" on the simulator will it take exactly the same screen space once it's sent to a real DLT...

    Thanks, John
