    Hi,

How do you change the label on a DLT for a Scene ? Am I missing something really obvious as I can only see how to do it for groups.

    Scene Labels

    Hi,

To label a scene you must have a Trigger Group and Action Selector assigned to it. You should then be able to label it under the Trigger Control section if the Edit Languages dialogue.

    Cheers,
    Mark.

The simpliest (but not logical) way I followed was using a dummy group address on a key and load a label to it (by right clicking at the edit language page). Afterwards whatever you do to that key (change it to scene, scene modify...etc), the label wouldn't change unless you re-load a new label to that key.

    Erk!

    Hi Guys,

This isn't necessary. It will work, but if you're still having trouble after reading the tutorials please let us know and we'll add a section on labelling scene buttons to the tutorial.

    Cheers,
    Mark.

A few more DLT to be programmed, so I'll certainly try to do it in a proper way. I was having trouble labelling "scene modify" which was not dynamic linked to any single scene.

    Labelling Scene Modifiers

To label a Scene Modifier, you have to label the Trigger Group (without an Action Selector). This can be done by going to Applications/Trigger Control/Trigger Groups in the project view, selecting the appropriate trigger group and hitting 'Edit Languages'.

Future versions of Toolkit will include Scene Modifiers in the network level Edit Languages dialogue.
