Is there a way to change the font display for the DLT's ? I have some words which are less than 14 characters, but are "off the screen".

I can see in the Clipsal 2005 CBUS brochure, the font for the DLT's seems to be different there (actually looks nicer).

    Thanks

    Font

Yes, hence my question - I'm asking about font, not necessarily size.

The look of the font is different in the manuals. Different fonts inherently have their own unique makeup and size.

The DLT has only 1 font and size available. How many characters you can fit depends entireley on which letters are used, as Dave correctly points out.

Unfortuantely some of the marketing material was prepared before the product was finalised, hence the difference between what is on the front of the 2004 Trade Price Catalogue and the actual unit.

    Shame

Shame as the "marketing" font looks a lot better. Is this a firmware thing ?

The Marketing font may look better in pretty pictures but I can assure you it was a lot harder to read once the switch was installed on the wall.

We had to choose a single font (yes, it's a firmware thing) so we tried to get the font that was the most readable when the unit was installed and looked OK.

    bitmap it

I know it's not as convenient, but you can of course whip up graphic labels with any font and import them into Toolkit.

Search for "Paintbrush" in the tutorial to find the relevant section :
