    Hi,

Is there a default password for a panel.

Is there a way to retrieve a lost password in a display panel, may be with a backup via PICED?

    What is a "panel" ?

If you are referring to the touch screens, then no.

If you have the PICED project, then you could send it to Tech Support for them to try to remove the passwords.

I am speaking about the 5000CT Series and 5050CTC2. Considering that a password has been enabled in the colour touch screen or the monochrome. Could I find the password by myself. Example: By using the the PICED software could I be able to make a backup of the project and retrieve the password?

To explain me, it`s for a client and I will probably not be able to send it to the Tech support.

The passwords are stored in encrypted text. There is no simple way to decrypt the stored password text to find the password.
