Dimmers on 3 phases

    Need a refresh on the connection of dimmers over 3 phase power supply, there is some smallprint so they dim correctly.

    Dimmers and phases

    Dave,

    Guess you are referring to standard dimmers (din) and not high powered unit.
    For din ensure the phase of the power supply into the C-Bus section of the dimmer is the same phase as that supplied to the internal circuitry of the dimmer (right connections). The power connections do not have to be on the same circuit (circuit breaker -CB) however they do have to be on the same phase.
    A real good idea is to have each dimmer on its own CB, handy for isolating a unit when working on the associated load circuits etc
