    Hi folks.

I have a couple of dead eDLTs at my house and I was wondering if there is a way of bringing them back to life.

From what I understand it is likely that the storage memory inside eDLTs has worn off and dead. In this case I am rather confident that I could replace it (if it is not soldered, e.g. like bios chips on the motherboards) and re-flash it.

Has anyone had any practical experience in fixing these things?

Unfortunately RMA is not likely an option in my case since I don’t really have any papers from the original installation and as far as I know the installer company went out of business.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's a bit more difficult as you are not in Australia where these 'originate'.
Is there a manufacture date on the product(s) you have? There should be a date code on the back of them.

The failure is not caused by memory 'wearing out' BTW. There are no user serviceable parts either.

Probably not the answers you are looking for, but please come back with manufacture dates as a starting point

I don't have access to the site for the next couple of weeks, however as far as I know all the equipment has been installed at the house in 2014. That means that all of the items are at least 10 years old.
