    Hi There,

Has anybody else used inverse square derived dimming algorithms and have they performed well in practice?

I presumed light would follow the inverse square law of propogation, with a little 'fuzzing' due to diffusion and light scattering. So I built some code to implement inverse square based dimming curves.

This works reasonably well in simulation but I am wondering how applicable it would be in the real world and whether anybody has tried this type of approach or something similar.

Thankyou in advance for any feedback and comments
