With the ctouch i now find i need the windows task manager running all the time to kill ctouch when i make a mistake and start in new menu.
Why, because the "cancel" button is not activated and if i hit "new" instead of "save" say it whats u to go through the full set project, set number etc before i can back to reopening the file i was working.

Plan B is to use the task manager to kill ctouch and restart it - it faster the going all through menus i do not want.

    Ctouch - won't die

From what i have seen with the software, the "new" process is fairly simple.

You only need to provide a few details like, C-Bus project and unit address.
Once these 2 items are complete you can click finish and away you go.

The reason you are made to fill-in these 2 items is to save many tech support calls involving
problems with unit address not being set and also
people saying that they can not see their "TAG" files.

In the past the programmer had to know where to find these details, now it
presents them to you , to make sure they are complete.

The current beta version i have been using does allow you to terminate the program easily (Version 2038)
via a "do you want to close C-touch software message.

If you hit New instead of Save, the software will ask "C-Touch data has changed. Do you want to save the Data ?". If you click on Cancel, you will cancel the New Project operation and return to where you were. This behaviour is consistent with standard Windows application behaviour.

If for some reason you do go into the New Project Wizard, the Cancel button is disabled because to cancel it could leave the software in the situation where there is no C-Bus Project selected which causes problems.
