CTouch Calibration Failed!

    I have a B&W ctouch mk2 (no logic) which has been working fine for a year but recently most of the touch overlay has stopped responding.
    I've tried resetting the unit and resending the programming, updating the firmware, connecting to the unit with PICED and resetting the calibration -- no joy.
    I've put a button on the home page to take me to the Calibration page and in doing so I can press each of the screen cross-hairs and it beeps with each press but always fails -- displays a message Calibration Failed.
    Any suggestions or is this unit beyond repair?

    The schedules held by the ctouch seem to be working ok.
