Is it possible to enable copying a component from an open PICED project (such as a button) and then copy it into another PICED project open in another window. I have buttons that I have formatted in one project that I would like to use in others, hence my suggestion of a "Component Gallery" or "Assets" feature that could be added to the PICED software.

No. The software does not use the Windows clipboard for copy and paste.
The best way to do this is to save the components in a template, or even better, to create a theme using them. This way, each time you create a new project, you can get all of your preferred components (as well as other project settings).
