Is it possible to control the scheduling on one installation over IP?
I mean I would like to change the schedule of the lighting system over IP, the schedule is on the PACA. Is there a method to be sure that the schedule is right done.

    Regards,

This is possible, although a bit painful. You can connect to your C-Bus network through one of the C-Bus to IP devices (5500CN, Wiser, C-Touch) with the PICED software and then download a new project to the PACA over C-Bus. You do need to bear in mind that this can take half an hour or so (depending on size of your project) and the schedules in your PACA won't be running during this time.

I vaguely recall someone attempting to update the PACA remotely using an Ethernet to USB device but can't remember if it was successful.

A better approach would be to put all your schedules in a C-Bus device that also lives natively on the ethernet network, such as a Colour C-Touch or a Wiser. Provided your computer is on the same ethernet network, updating these devices over ethernet is fairly trivial.

Interesting... the thing is that the computer is not on the same vlan than the C-bus network. I would like to know in the same time if there is some knowledge to have to put the C-bus Network on a different VLAN than the computer.
