Control Samsung TV over Ethernet using Shac

Is there a way of controlling Samsung TV over ethernet using touch screen with Shac.

I want to build visualization page with basic controls of TV.

I have done this before many many many years ago with IR but was wondering weather it was possible over Ethernet.

I can control TV using Smartthings App, would there be any way of capturing IP packets for certain commands and sending from Shac instead.

I assume there will be some major scripting involved which I'm not too familiar with but would love to learn.

Not directly answering your question, but I have been using https://github.com/tavicu/homebridge-samsung-tizen where the developer seems to suggest local control is not viable:

• Unfortunately the Tizen API will not offer information about the TV, like the current channel, volume or if the TV is on mute or not
