Has anyone come up with a way of reconising an amperage output of say a inverter from a solar or wind generator. The purpose of this (pending on load output) would be to then switch loads through Piced Logic to accomadate renewable energy projects.
    Thanks Lance

What's the format of the amperage output? A scaled voltage? 4-20mA? Serial data? The first 2 could be accommodated with a General Input Module, the last coupe be accommodated with a PAC.

A CT with a current transmitter will give you 4-20mA. We use them all the time in our MCC's. You should be able to get 0-10V as well, but a current loop is a better option
