Come On SE Firmware

Anyone have any idea when on earth SE are going to release a firmware update.
Been a very long time coming just like all things SE

 

V1.10.0 for NAC/SHAC due in a few weeks to public

 

Have seen it posted. and downloaded.
Still reviewing the changes

also note the New hardware versions will be due out in approx DEC 2021.
as mentioned elsewhere its an incremental change to the internal hardware based upon a change to a new Micro.

effectively providing;
more BACnet points in NAC 500 goes to 2000 (5000NAC2)
5500NAC/5500NAC2 get DALI Exit / Emerg monitoring and control
more Objects in NAC/SHAC 2000 goes to 4000 on newer models (550NAC2 / 5500AC2)
product rebrand / re-label ( no Smart home labelling )
slight price increase
approx 2.5 times processing power increase

hardware will have new part numbers as listed on global websites and their own firmware
( same features typically as old hardware, just different specs as listed above )

5500SHAC >> 5500AC2
5500NAC >> 5500NAC2

Disappointed

 

There are two kinds of updates for the SHAC - the firmware upgrade as above to 1.10.0 and also ' updates' from the manual section 3.7

3.7 Updates and Firmware upgrade

"Updates provide a way to install improvements and new features to the Controller."

Will there be a corresponding update released for the SHAC? Hoping so as otherwise yes I too am a bit

after so long waiting. It's potentially such a great product.

modbus devices now up to 10 instead of 6.
bacnet qty not changed
no DALI Exit / emerg monitoring (Needs NAC for that)

other features generally same as the NAC
