Does it lose time gradually or in 30 minute steps ?

You may need to use the diagnostic software to log what is happening on the site for a week or so. The log will tell us what is happening. Make sure all of the logging options are on.

    Nathan,

We installed 2 pre-release Colour Ctouch's and had the exact same problem.

We replaced both screens and I beleive that the problem has now been rectified.

    See your local rep.

It is very unlikely that both screens would have a clock which is running slow. There is a mechanism to synchronise the clocks on C-Bus units. If one clock was running slow, it may be changing the time on the other unit too. You would need to look at logs to determine which unit was the "time master".

Do you have a Minder on the same network?

No minder the only other clock devices are the two c-touches and the relay / dimmer units. I have to go back to site to check the log file to find out which one is the master and replace this one first.

I think Darren is referring to the time keeping master, not the C-Bus clock generator. As such, only one of the C-Touch's will be the time master.

Hence Darren's reference to looking at the logs to see which unit last sent a message to update the time in all units on the network supporting time display.

Newman is correct. We are concerned about units participating in the time application, not C-Bus clock units.
