Color touch screen connection via USB

    I have an old Colour touch screen connection via RJ45 crossover cable but no RJ45 on laptop so am using a USB converter to RJ45 which is connected but in the transfer utility software can't find the correct network adaptor.

    check the type of usb converter there is straight through and null modem, if null modem you only need a patch lead not cross over.
