The Control Systems IP Utility scan does not find the CNI (which currently has a dynamic IP address). Is there any other way to change the ip address of the CNI?

    i use lantronix device installer.
Also the early version of CNI (Australian version) had problems with the supplied power supply failing.

The C-Bus IP utility (installed with Toolkit) can also be used to reconfigure the old Lantronix CNI too

So I'll ask the obvious question then. The CNI is currently working with toolkit via it's dynamic ip address?

Yes, the CNI is currently working via the dynamic IP.

I'm not sure where the C-Bus IP utility is within the Toolkit. I downloaded the Control Systems IP Utility separately.

Ah, the Additional information section of the Control Systems IP Utility states:
As of version 1.5.0 of this utility the 5500CN units are no longer supported. They will not be detected when performing a scan and can no longer be configured using this utility. Customers requiring this functionality can download and use the Lantronix Device Installer tool available at:

    https://www.lantronix.com/products/deviceinstaller/

    Thank you!
