    Hi all,

I have installed a new CBus installation and I am having trouble with the Ethernet Interface (5500CN2).

I have commisioned the network (or am in the process of) with a DIN Rail USB interface, which seems to work fine.

When I change the interface type from to CNI I get the error message "Failed to Open the Network, as the C-Bus Network Interface is inaccessible".

The Interface gets its IP from a DHCP server (static Map) on the network, the port is 10001. The CBus toolkit is running on a Win7 64bit PC on the local subnet.

    Any assistace would be appreciated.

    Fixed

    Hi all,

Just found the IP config tool in the unit dialogue, for some reason the DHCP reservation wasn't working - setting it manually in the control system IP Utility fixed the problem.

Static IP is the only way to go!
