What Clipsal devices are presently available to monitor energy, heard some time ago that something was coming out - any news?

You're probably referring to the C-Bus Current Measurement Unit. It can have up to 4 current transformers connected to it. It is able of reporting the current flowing in the measurement circuits on to C-Bus. If a nominal line voltage and power factor are entered (using Toolkit) then it can make an estimate of the power flowing in the connected circuit and broadcast this information onto C-Bus for other devices to us.

When this information is combined with the user display capabilities of a C-Touch, C-Touch Spectrum, Colour C-Touch, Wiser, Homegate or Schedule Plus then the user can see their current and historical energy consumption.

This has been well covered on the forums so I suggest you use the search function.
